“Countries with the people as the basis,people must eat to live,Food safetyfirst.” Food safety related to the safety of life of citizens, but also the relationshipbetween the national and regional economic development and social stability. Withthe development of modern food industry, extensive application of transgenictechnology, nanotechnology techniques are being applied to food production,processing and packaging, so that our life has undergone tremendous changes. Weattach importance to food from the past "quantity" of security, the transition to theattention of the food "quality" of security, more concerned about eating healthy canbe assured of food. However, the rapid development of modern food industry, whilealso increasing the risk of a new food safety. Especially in recent years, food safetyaccident frequency has left the people circulated difficult to shake off the shadow.Sanlu milk powder, Sudan, poisonous rice, cooking oil, melamine, of thin meatfine, dyed bread, poison bean sprouts and other events not only bring huge losses toconsumers, but also for government food safety regulators, and government andgovernment management capacity credibility have raised serious challenges. So howto effectively strengthen government regulation of food safety, enhance thecredibility of the government is already facing food safety supervision departments atall levels of an important issue in this context that this paper is unfolded.The first chapter introduces articles of food safety and food safety regulatoryconcept, and then the concept of crisis management theory, principles,characteristics, patterns and other aspects of food safety problems were analyzed,summarized food safety incident is a typical public crisis. The second chapter of theregulatory status quo of China’s food safety statement summarizes the last five plightof our government at this stage in the food safety regulatory supervision faced: First, the legal system of food safety regulatory lag; Second, the food safety supervisionlower standard system level; Third, the lack of control of food safety regulatorysystem; Fourth, government food safety supervision in poor implementation; five,lack of administrative accountability for food safety regulation. The third chapteranalyzes the USA, Japan, the European Union and some other Western countries ishow to regulate in the food sector, and summarizes some available from ourgovernment learn from the experience in the supervision and inspiration. Chapter IVDilemma control of our government in the food safety supervision in the presence ofWestern developed countries, combined with the experience of enlightenment, fromfive aspects of our government put forward countermeasures to improve food safetysupervision in.
