Study On The Road Of The Southern Cooperative In Yanan Period

The Southern Cooperative was founded in the end of1936and set up as a model ofcooperatives by the Communist Party of China. With the great help of the CommunistParty of China and the government of the border region, the cooperative found a correctpath of running a cooperative. This path is named the Road of the Southern Cooperative.We can better understand the history value and the meaning of the Southern Cooperative,as well as drawing lessons for the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics throughintensive study on the formation and development of the Southern Cooperative anda systematic summarize of the basic components of this example.This paper focus on the Road of the Southern Cooperative in Yanan period,including five parts.The first part is an introduction to the development and defect of the study on theSouthern Cooperative. Besides, it expounds the significance of the study on the Road ofthe Southern Cooperative and explains the research idea of this paper.The second part makes a description of the formation and development of thesouthern cooperative. The Road of the Southern Cooperative which is under the “supply insuranceand economy development” and advantageous to both public and private interest policyis one good model leading the economy development of the border area through flexiblemanagement and the real mass line. It includes the following four parts, the objective ofpursuing the interest of the mass, the policy that is advantageous to both public andprivate, flexible management and the “supply insurance and economy development”policy. The fourth part mainly discusses the history value and the meaning of the road ofthe southern cooperative. The Road of the Southern Cooperative is a development of theCommunist Party of China to deepen the cognizance of the cooperative economic theory.Besides, it boosted the economic development, improved the lives of local people andwas an important support for the victory of the new-democratic revolution.The fifth part is the thought of lessons from the road of the southern cooperative.Even nowadays, there is still some successful experience that is worth learning, such asdeveloping the economy by emancipating and developing the productive forces, servingthe people heart and soul by insisting the mass line and promoting the construction ofculture by developing the spirit of the southern cooperative. We can draw significantlessons for the cause of the socialism with Chinese characteristics through an intensivesumming up of the experience of the southern cooperative.
