Construction Of The New Era Of Army Ideological And Political "Big Education" Pattern

Under the new situation, Hi-Tech means represented by network is exerting increasingimpact on the society and the army. It becomes more and more important to obtain andchoose information. There appear many new characteristics concerning the relationshipbetween the educator and the educated, and the values and ideas the officers and the soldierstend to be diversified. As one of the most important traditional advantages of our army, theideological and political education is now facing great opportunities, as well as enormouschallenges. Responding to all these things mentioned above, our army’s political cadres,officers and soldiers put forward “great education”, making it one new development path forreforming and innovating our army’s ideological and political education.Based on combined space-time, many means and wide range,great education is a kindof systematic, open educational pattern with joint efforts, which is aimed at adapting ourarmy’s ideological and political education to the society and military developments, andstrengthening its pertinence, being systematic and creativeness.This paper begins with thebrief analysis of the current condition of our army’s IPE, introducing the concept of “greateducation”, explaining the essence, features and necessity of “great education”.Then the paper makes close analysis of the nature of being scientificof great education by means of Marxism and the systematic theory. How to establish ourarmy’s great education pattern? It is the practical valve of this paper. Lastly the authormakes proposals for establishing great education pattern in our army’s IPE from five aspectsconcerning time and space, education content, method, the quality of the educator and thecharacteristics of the educated.
