Improvement Of The System Of People’s Mediation For Medical Disputes In Ningbo City

With the improvement of living standard, people are expecting more for the qualityof life. However, as the medical service and care cannot match the expectation from therequest of most people, there are a great deal of conflicts between hospital and patients.And the complaints about hospitals are growing larger, which become a hot issue and adifficult problem in the society. In Ningbo, the exploration for the solutions started quiteearly, which were called as “Ningbo Solution”. Its experience, both positive and negative,can help to provide some insights for the solution of conflicts between hospital andpatients.The first part of the essay is about the practice of Ningbo People’s MediationCommittee.
