TPP is short for Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement. Firstly, multilateral free tradeagreements are signed within the framework of the APEC by Singapore, New Zealand,Chile, and Brunei in2005. Initially, TPP was not well known around the world. Due to theaccession of the United States in2009, it has become a global focus. So far, negotiatingteams have met for19formal rounds of talks, as well as in numerous intercessionalmeetings, to exchange proposals, identify creative and pragmatic solutions to outstandingissues, and close gaps. TPP will be a landmark of21st-century trade agreements, with newstandard for global trade and next-generation issues.TPP will have a great impact on international law and domestic law. Due to the highlyconfidential nature of the negotiations, the outside world is difficult to picture a glance, butwe can learn the rules through the relevant leaked documents. On the one hand, TPP willdevelop free trade agreements, but it will exacerbate already intricate mingled FTA’sspaghetti bowl effect. And the emergence of TPP will be a great threaten to WTOmultilateral trading system. Hence, the TPP regulations analysis is important. It is good forChina and relevant countries to make a more comprehensive understanding of the TPP’slegal influence, and make a good choice on TPP.
