Legal Research On Economic Goals Of Government Procurement And Its Path Of Realization

As capital for government procurement is taken from national financial fund, it shouldbe used in nationals’ interest. Different from its policy goal, economic efficiency is theprime and central target of government procurement, which advocates a reasonable ues ofcapital to maximize the benefit. Therefore, certain institutions and priciples are stipulatedin China’s Government Procurement Law, such as fair competition, public bidding,centralized purchase, supervision and so on. Nevertheless, phenomena like sky-high priceprocurement, luxury procurement are exposed now and then. In addition, problems likelocal protectionism, narrowing of scale of centralized purchase should not be neglected. Tocope with these difficulties, we are supposed to change our way of thinking, to overcomeobstacles for realization of economic goals of government procurement.
