The Research On The Historical Materialism By Analytical Marxism And Its Inspiration

Analytical Marxism, in English-speaking area,is the most representative school pertaining to Marxism study in the late1970s,for its unique research methods and great attention to practical problems. This paper mainly study theory of history which is the origin and the core of Analytical Marxism,Meanwhile,systematically introduces and analysis the reconstruction and interpretation of Analytical Marxism about Marxist theory of history.Not only is Marxist theory of history the focal point of Marxism, but also it is the reconstructed direction in regard to Marxism by Analytical Marxism.There are great number of Analytical Marxism representatives, which involves G· A· Cohen, Jon Elster, William Shaw and John Romer.This paper discusses the Analytical Marxism along the key content of historical materialism----productivity,relations of production and the reflections of the historical materialism. We believe that school supplemented the people’s own development in the traditional understanding of historical materialism and the decisive role in the productivity.Purpose of this paper is using comprehensive and objective research to analysis of Analytical Marxism’s methods and theories of Marxist theory of history,for the purpose of giving a valuable reference for China’s economic and social development. Currently, the socialist core values education is increasingly becoming an important way to comprehensively deepen reforms, in addition to strengthening the operational level from the specific content of the core values of socialism, socialist values generated equally important from a macro-level understanding of the history of law; while being the latter can get inspiration from research in Western Marxism.
