| Abstract:After the reform and opening up,the rapiddevelopment of our economy has caused dramatictransformation of society. Our country has passed throughthe road during thirty years which western developed-country need one or two hundred years, which resulted in"time compression". This extraordinary developmentdestroyed the social organism that is integral, harmoniousand natural-evolution,which caused the unbalance of socialstructure, the disconnection of social system problem.Ournormal class-differentiation should also be affected.Firstly, from the micro-aspect of time-compression—social time compression,I studyed the correlation betweensocial time compression and social stratification of the fivesocial stage of primitive society, agricultural society, industrial society and network society, which confirmedthat time-compression indeed has the effect on socialstratification. Secondly, from the macro-aspect oftime-compression—social transformation compression,Ianalyzed the representation, reason and effect of thetime-compression of social transition, dissected by time-compression on the condition(inverted T-shaped),features(institution-oriented and logic of marketization),problems(the immobilization of top-class,the pauperization of middle-class,the fragmentation of bottom-class) of China’scontemporary social social stratification.I found that time-compression has the assemble effect, stretching effect, polarization effect and delayed effect on the social stratumdifferentiation. Finally I cogitated the adjustment of socialstratum structure in the perspective of time-compression,and held forth suggestions that narrow bottom-class,strengthen middle-class,restraint top-class,and reshape thesocial consensus. |
