Social mobility relates to the social structure which relates to social justice, it is theimportant reason why the scholars at home and abroad devote themselves to the question ofthe social mobility. The researches on social mobility are already achieved and maturerelatively in the western countries, However,the social characteristics of flow pattern isdifferent from the other countries because of its political, economic and cultural factors inChina. So it is neither scientific nor reasonable to use the theories on social mobility in theforeign countries directly to analyze real cases in China. For this reason, many Chinesescholars research and explore the social mobility deeply from lots of different perspectives.Inter-generational mobility is an important role in the social mobility. At present, theresearches of intergenerational mobility on specific groups are rather limited and theresearches intergenerational mobility on rural groups is even limited. Since China’s reformand opening up, a "double transition" has brought the huge changes to China’s rural societyand rural social status of different professions. This research focus on social grassrootsdevoted to the analysis the aspects of reality of county teachers, civil servants and enterprisemanagers in intergenerational mobility and intergenerational inheritance. The goal of thispaper is to make a few contributions to the study of intergenerational mobility.Based on the literature research and research targets including teachers, civil servantsand enterprise managers, this thesis will conclude and refer to the methods and theories athome and abroad in order to insure the clear research thoughts and concrete frame for analysis.Intergenerational mobility research dimensions of teachers, civil servants and enterprisemanagers will be confirmed according to the research targets and analysis frames and thedimensions will be presented in the questionnaire in order to facilitate data and analyze deeplylater.Based on the above research goal and the research thoughts, D county in Jilin provincewill be chosen to carry out the research work and select qualified teachers, civil servants andenterprise managers as the research objects. In this paper, professional distribution on threecategories of professional groups’ children will be observed from the macroscopic view.Found that children of civil servants and enterprise managers focus on employment system(mainly civil servants and business unit personnel), and teachers children work for systemoutside, and the species of they employment is relatively abundant, what’s more, theyemployment level is relatively low. Investigate its reason, the author thinks that there aremainly own to two things: Firstly, teachers, civil servants and enterprise managers takeadvantage of their capital in the process of intergenerational mobility all they can, to make it into their children chip for employment; secondly, Mutual transformation between differentcapital in the process of intergenerational mobility.
