For Chinese farmers, the land is not only the basic means of production, but also is the most important safeguard mechanism, land care for old-age has become the main security way for elderly farmers, however, with the speeding up of urbanization, in order to meet the needs of urban economic and social development, a large number of agricultural land has been expropriated, after losing land for security the farmers may become "three no man"(landless and unemployed, insecurity) and "three lost man"(land-lost, unemployment, lose security). Land expropriation is the inevitable choice for the urban construction expansion, which is lead to more and more farmers become land-lost farmers, and become the city poor, at present, the social group is expanding rapidly. Farmers landless, Living without work, having no social security, elderly supporting security has become an urgent problem and need to solve. With the social and city development, the land-lost farmers how to choose suitable way for elderly supporting security? This paper choose the suburban L village, Nanning, Guang Xi as the field site, through fieldwork and in-depth interviews, to describe and analyze the elderly supporting situation of suburban land-lost farmers, and study deeply into the current elderly supporting difficulties and put forward the suitable and actual demand suggestions and countermeasures for land-lost farmers faced. The paper is divided into six parts.The first part is introduction. It mainly discusses the origin, purpose and significance of research, reviews on the relevant research about land-lost farmers’ social security problems, achievements and relevant theoretical of home and abroad.The second part is the study design, it mainly introduces the overview of survey sites, the selection of subjects, data collection and thought train of the research, and to define the involve concept which has used in this paper.The third part is the investigation and analysis about present situation of elderly supporting for land-lost farmers in L village, Nanning city. From the land-lost farmers’family population, the status of the family income, life care condition to describe current situation of elderly supporting in detail for land-lost farmers, investigating and analyzing the actual situation of elderly supporting security for the land-lost farmers.The fourth part is to analysis the influencing factors of land-lost farmers’endowment. Based on the Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, the social role theory, make full use of interview data, to realize that economic factors, family factors, social factors and personal factors has the important influence on L village land-lost farmers’endowment, so it drove land-lost farmers to choose the way of pension. The results showed that, serious trend of the urbanization advancement and the aging of the population poses a great impact on the rural traditional pension model, rural endowment way is in changing. The future endowment patterns choice of suburban landless farmers’in urbanization should choose social endowment insurance as the core for self endowment, to form the traditional family endowment insurance as the auxiliary, develop "discriminating unified" model that contains community endowment and institution endowment etc. new endowment way.Fifth part considered land-lost farmers re-employment difficulty has been brought by the urbanization, rural labor outflow, rural families empty phenomenon aggravate realities, so when we solve the problem of land-lost farmers’social security, we can work from the following respects, First, to establish the land-lost farmers employment security system; Second, to adjust measures suitable for local conditions, improve the landless farmers’ endowment insurance system; Third, improve the land compensation standard and resettlement subsidies; Fourth, continue to strengthen and play the family old-age security function; Fifth, the government plays, social participation, and introduce other new endowment way actively.The last part is summing-up the deficiency of the study.
