A Study On The Incentive Mechanism Of Community Volunteer Service

With the rapid development of economy and society, the public’s requirement of improving the living environment and other needs is higher day by day. So we need to improve the level of community volunteer services, complete the volunteer services system and enrich the content of community volunteer services. But there are a lot of problems in community volunteer service, such as low social awareness, low participation rate and the insufficient resources in volunteers. These problems seriously restrict the development of the community volunteer service. And the main reason of these problems is community volunteer service incentive mechanism is not perfect. Incentive mechanism is the important guarantee of community volunteer services. It can protect the basic rights of community volunteers and expand the scale of the number of volunteers to promote community building.This paper is based on the analysis of combing the theory and practice all over the world, use questionnaire survey methods, historical research methods and comparative research methods, analyze the incentives of the current situation and problems.Meantime, find out the experience for reference through the foreign incentive mechanism. Then, taking the community in Wenzhou as an example, find out different factors affect volunteers to participate in voluntary service at present, specifically the needs of volunteers’ motive. At last, find out the measures to improve the incentive mechanism of community volunteer service.
