S And Channels Study Of Chinese NPO Participating In Social Security Bases On YNSPGP

As a social stability mechanism, Social security involves government, citizens, enterprises and social organizations. Depending on government or market merely as the main body to provide social security cannot meet the demand of all social strata. In China, the government in providing social security exhibits low efficiency, narrow coverage, limited funds and poor services issues, which restrict the development and transition of Chinese society. Therefore, to study the diversification of the main body of social security and to introduce non-profit organizations to participate in social security are very important. Chinese nonprofit organizations are participating in the construction of social security system in variety of ways, especially in weak social security areas, such as poverty-stricken areas, rural areas and ethnic minority areas, non-profit organizations play a role in increasing income, providing jobs, helping the poor, providing for the aged and providing public products.This paper takes Yunnan Society for Promotion of the Guangcai Programme as an example, on the basis of the study of the ways and channels of non-profit organizations participating in social security, to put forward some suggestions on how to improve and expand the ways of participation. The paper is consisted of five parts:Part I reorganizes and summarizes domestic and foreign theories on non-profit organizations participating in social security; Part II introduces the definition and related concepts of non-profit organizations in the social security; Part III bases on Yunnan Society for Promotion of the Guangcai Programme to analyze and discuss the direct and indirect ways of non-profit organizations participating in social security; Part IV discusses and probes the difficulties of Chinese nonprofit organizations expanding the ways to participating in social security; Part IIV putts forward suggestions on improving and expanding the ways and channels of nonprofit organizations participating in social security, to enhance the ability of nonprofit organizations participate in social security, and to diversify the ways and channels of nonprofit organization participating in social security, and push them to participate in social security and shares pressures of government.
