Analysis On Non-profit Organization And Non-profit Venture

With the development of the market economy, many social problems that cannot be solved by the market sector and the government sector, thus the non-profit organizations play their important role. As an independent organization, it faces lots of difficulties. The traditional organizations depended on the social donations and the government finance to accomplish the social mission. However, the history data demonstrated that depended too much on the outsider will make an organization lose its life and disappear at last. Thus, more and more non-profit organizations are turning their way to the business world, so we need to do more research on the commercialization of the non-profit organization.The literature of research on the non-profit venture in economic view is deficient, the thesis tried to analyze the non-profit venture in economic theory, and tried to give some advice on the development of the non-profit organization.Firstly, this thesis summarized the literature on what is the non-profit organization and the theory of their existences and the social entrepreneurship. Based on the literature, this thesis brought forward the definition of the non-profit venture. And then gave an analysis on the demand-side and supply-side of the non-profit venture. In the demand analysis, this thesis made use of the stakeholder theory and the transaction cost theory to confirm the necessary of the non-profit venture. While in the supply analysis, it gave the supply structure and summarized the supply mode, which made the non-profit venture feasible.After the theory analysis, the following sector studied the present situation of the non-profit organization in China. Based on the literature and data, we can see the non-profit organizations still face many problems, the most important part is the fund problem, the imbalance of the funds sources and lack of donation etc. At last, the thesis gave some advice on the fund raise problem: separate the fund-raise department from the mission-accomplish department which helps to advance the efficiency of different sectors; and broad the scope of the fund raise method in order to accomplish the social missions perfectly.
