For over30years of reform and opening-up, China’s rapid increase in the productivity of the economy, culture and other aspects have made remarkable achievements, but with the development of various thoughts, ideas to stack, to let people lost is the judgment standard, began to selfish, insensitive, lost his compassion. Society also appeared a serious moral loss phenomenon. Therefore, the current important task is to build a consistent with our country market economy’s moral order, attach importance to moral education, completing the transformation of education system, change people’s ideas, improve people’s moral consciousness, strengthen people’s sympathy.In this paper, the compassion in Adam Smith’s "Theory of moral sentiments" has carried on the comprehensive investigation. This paper analyzes the state ownership is different, different national conditions and the traditional culture of the18th-century Britain and China in the moral status of market economy, moral conflicts and the relevance of the moral education content, etc. And in recent years the academic study of Adam Smith thought, to review and summarize found that most of the current academic research on Adam Smith’s study from the perspective of economics or the moral sentiments of Smith on the text interpretation and research of the enlightenment of moral education in our country by using the text literature is less. This paper argues that Adam Smith’s "moral sentiments" on the basis of "sympathy", standard for judging conformance for moral education, individual conscience and responsibility of internalization, formed the most precious of virtue, the most basic virtue of justice, mercy most useful cautious virtue and self-control virtue, the most important.This article from the "Theory of moral sentiments" reflect the moral education thought of above, this paper combined with the present situation of the moral education in our country, find a way of thinking and path of moral education in our country. Finally it is concluded that. Smith’s idea of "sympathy" is one of the revelation we use each other in the course of moral sympathy, strengthen moral education effect; Educators should make great efforts to stimulate and cultivate students’ emotional sympathy. The thought of "appropriate" enlightens us in the process of moral education should be to build a harmonious relationship between teachers and students; To promote moral education mode, the methods of diversity; Establish and perfect all kinds of rewards and punishment system. The thought of "virtue" enlightens us in moral education emphasizing the cultivation of good; Moral education must cultivate people’s responsibility consciousness; our moral education should practice the socialist core values; To establish the social system of justice, optimize the environment of moral education; Strengthen self education, pay attention to the development of prudence; Students should be from the "discipline" to "self-discipline", cultivate the perfect personality.
