The Study Of The Korea Public Diplomacy

In recent years, the economic and political standard of Korea have met a huge progress.Its statehood has been improved a lot through organizing the G20Meeting, Nuclear SecuritySummit and etc,. But no matter how much progress it have made in politics and economy, wecan not name our country as a country which respects by others. If the image of Korea in theminds of the people all over the world can not be improved, it can not be a country withinternationalization level. The Korean government has realized the importance of the publicdiplomacy. So it has already been the diplomatic strategy which has been paid great attentionby the Korean government. Now the public diplomacy has gradually been paid great attentionin Korea. To Korea, the public diplomacy is an important and necessary diplomatic strategy.Because there is almost no diplomatic factor in Korea and it can only realize its diplomatictargets and improve its national status by promoting its public diplomacy with its soft power.Even-though the public diplomacy has a late start in Korea but it has met a fast development.As a medium-developed country, Korea is meeting new tasks and challenges. Giving a betterillustration of the real situation of Korea has been the fundamental project of Korea’sdevelopment. Korea is meeting both opportunity and challenge in promoting the developmentof the public diplomacy.
