The intangible culture has been deeply integrated into a nation’s creativity, cohesionand vitality. Contemporarily, the human society has witnessed rapid advancement witheach passing today. During this process, the worldwide dissemination of a country’sculture has become an inevitable choice for its rise in growing comprehensive nationalstrength.China is featured by a long history of over5000years. Countless and innumerablehistoric sites and cultural relics have marveled people from both home and abroad.Currently, the splendid history begins to surface and echo in the new era. By meansof advanced technology, we can resort to digitalized protection to store, inherit anddevelop our cultural resources, the practice of which is receiving increasing popularity.However, digitalized protection should witness the clarification of various rights, theimprovement of safety and efficiency regarding specific application of digitalizedmaterials, which is exactly the focus of this paper.This paper can be divided into six parts, namely six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction. The author will summarize the researchbackground, research overview, and research perspectives. Meanwhile, the author will tryto define the key concepts like ancient frescoes, digitalized protection, rights inventoryand rights identification;The second chapter is the overview concerning China’s digitalized achievements ofancient frescoes and the protection of these frescoes’ intellectual property. This paper willanalyze and anticipate the prospects concerning the status quo of application regardingancient frescoes’ digitalized achievements and relevant practical experiences of Taiwanprovince;The third chapter is the necessity and principles concerning the rights of ancientfrescoes’ digitalized achievements. Based on both domestic and foreign experiences, theauthor will conduct analyses regarding the necessity of relevant rights in this fieldcovering aspects like cultural strategy, subject of protection, security of transaction andauthorization etc. Then the author will put forward principles characterized bycomprehensiveness, accuracy and pertinence;The fourth chapter is the specific procedure about how the rights of China’s ancientfresco digitalized achievements are preserved, the author will try to pinpoint the procedureand conduct in-depth analysis concerning the copyrights of digitalized achievements in the fields of image acquisition, image restoration, format conversion and database integration.During this process, originality is the guiding principle.The fifth chapter is the limitations and right direction of relevant rights, this authorwill analyze the limitations revealed in this paper and try to put forward the right directionof how these rights should be improved;The sixth chapter is the conclusion.
