Myanmar, as a Chinese traditional nation, since the diplomatic relations was established, it has maintained good relations with China. The two sides maintain good communication and cooperation in the fields of politics, economy, culture and so on, which also has laid a good foundation for the healthy development of bilateral relations.Starting and completion of the China-Burma oil pipeline become a milestone of bilateral cooperation.The new Chinese government initiated the China-Burma Economic Corridor and the Maritime Silk Road economic belt construction and China- ASEAN Free Trade Area and other stages lay good platforms for the long-term development of China-Myanmar relations.Myanmar held national elections in 2010. Since the new government came to power, it carried out democratic political reform, deregulation of domestic public opinion and the spread of democratic ideas; for the economy it has adopted an open strategy to welcome foreign investment; actively pursuing the diversification strategy in foreign diplomacy and so on. This change in Myanmar had an impact on bilateral relations to a certain extent. Myanmar’s new government face public pressure from some people, shutting down some Chinese investment projects in Burma and not only the US-led Western countries to ease relations with Burma, but also achieving the US President Barack Obama, British Prime Minister David Cameron and EU officials access Myanmar. Myanmar actively integrate into ASEAN in 2014 and became ASEAN’s rotating presidency. Facing the change of Burma and some individual events in bilateral relations, public opinion holds that China-Myanmar relations had a major setback. Faced with this public concern, the paper will take a in-depth analysis of the history and development trend of bilateral relations from the perspective of geopolitics, and analysis the geopolitical interests of the United States and Japan and other major countries in Europe and India. It also analysis rationally China and Myanmar’s geopolitical value.Geopolitical theory is based on the geography to carry out the analysis of interests, it occupies an important place in contemporary international relations theory. With the development of the international situation, the connotation of geopolitics also relevance with the social development and continuing. In today’s world of 21 century, productive development better; transportation more convenient; deepening globalization; closer links between countries are on now. Geopolitical theory also affect the world today through its own development. For example, not neighboring countries also have geopolitical relations due to the occurrence of certain conditions, calling "big geography" or "big geopolitics." Because the United States and the Philippines and Singapore are alliances, which also make the United States and Southeast Asian countries having geopolitical relations. As a result, the United States、Japan and Europe and India and other countries are in the quest for global geopolitical layout. Myanmar is in a strategic position, "east" and "west" crossroads, naturally drew by the great nations. The changes in Myanmar create the conditions for big countries to enter Myanmar. These factors have brought some challenges for traditional bilateral relations, but not shake the foundation of Sino-Myanmar cooperation geopolitical relations. This article discuss bilateral relations from a geopolitical point of view and gives scientific advice for the new era adjustment of bilateral relationsThrough a series of analyzes designed to address the following issues:1. The analysis of geopolitical value of China and Myanmar.2. The performance of new issues of bilateral relations after the 2010 elections.3. The impact of geopolitical factor for Myanmar’s Foreign Policy.4. The initiatives for developing the China-Myanmar’s relations in the geopolitical perspective.This thesis consists of four parts: The first part focuses on the geopolitical theory and on the Sino-Burmese geopolitical value analysis. This chapter is divided into three sections, the first section first analyzes the basic concept of geopolitics. Secondly, analyzes the nature and laws of geopolitics. The second section analyzes Myanmar for China’s geo-strategic value: elaborating Myanmar is China’s energy security strategy,an important strategic fulcrum of China in the Indian Ocean; breaking the American containment. The third section analyzes the Chinese geo-strategic value for Burma: China is Myanmar’s political backing of international strategy; the Myanmar’s largest source of foreign investment and donor countries; the Myanmar’s mediator of national unity and stability.The second part will discuss the historical review of bilateral relations as well as new issues since 2010. The first section will explain the historical review of bilateral relations, from the establishment of diplomatic stage to today’s restructuring and development stage. The second section will study new issues in bilateral relations since 2010 presented: 1. degree of mutual trust of China and Myanmar official trend to low. 2. anti-Chinese opinions trend to enhance in the official or unofficial. 3. Economic cooperation between China and Myanmar suffer impact. 4. The regional issues appear in the China-Myanmar geopolitical relations.The third part will analyze geopolitical factors in these issues. First, America, Europe and India wrest in Burma from a geopolitical point of view o. Secondly, it analyzes the role of ASEAN in Myanmar’s foreign policy. Once again, Myanmar changes: 1. Political reform and democratization in Myanmar. 2. Myanmar’s economic diversification strategy. 3. Myanmar diplomatic "neutral balance policy." 4. The unstable situation in Myanmar.The fourth part analyzes the geopolitical Strategic Choice of China to new problems in bilateral relations. First, China should clear the geopolitical role. Second, China should look at the changes in Myanmar objectively. Third, China and Myanmar should strengthen the principle of mutual trust and geopolitical cooperation.Finally, the conclusion of this section summarizes the relevant issues, the final questions for further study.
