| Essentially, micro-blog is a product of the Internet age, which effectively combines advanced technology and a strong demand of citizens’political participation. In China, micro-blogging has become one of the most influential social networking channels because of its high vitality, depth and heat of public topic. Micro-blogging politics in China is very active owing to widely using of micro-blog. Micro-blogging politics developed rapidly in 2011. In this year, the number of government micro-blogs increased quickly, and has become the communication bridge between citizens and government. Citizens participate in politics and express their demands through the micro-blogs, the government get the public opinions through government micro-blogs, in order to better manage the public affairs. The interaction between government and the public is very good and effective, so scholars have generally agreed to consider 2011 as China’s "Micro-blogging politics first year." Micro-blogging politics is an important measure to promote the network democratization process in China. On the one hand, it contributes to the realization of citizens’ expression rights, the right to information, and the participation rights; the other hand, it can supervise whether the government can legally manage public affairs, urge the government timely response to demands of the people and resolve the crisis.But as a social platform, the natural defect of micro-blog has hindered its maximum effect. And because the operation mode of micro-blogging politics is still in the exploratory stage, so some problems and deficiencies exist in the micro-blogging politics inevitably. Firstly, we described the current situation of the government micro-blog development. Then we analyze the problems in micro-blogging politics and the causes in the perspective of citizen participation from three aspects:body, way, object. At last we put forward suggestions, and hope to improve China’s micro-blogging politics. |
