However, the number of social conflicts and disputes showed a rising trend, showing a concentrated outbreak, complexity, diversity and the size and other characteristics with the rapid economic and social development of Tangshan City. Therefore, Tangshan people’s mediation work is facing serious challenges, how to effectively solve the people’s mediation work problem is an important issue currently facing.This article describes the meaning of people’s mediation, features, and functionality to the basic concepts of the nature of people’s mediation as a starting point. Subsequently, this paper outlines the historical development and evolution process of the people’s mediation system in the context of the historical development of the main line. This paper analyzes the basic situation of Tangshan Municipal People’s mediation work from people’s mediation organizations, people’s mediation staff, people’s mediation financial security, as well as the people’s mediation cases progress to fulfill the people’s mediation agreement and the five aspects, summarized the Tangshan Municipal People mediation process problems and causes exist.
