Status Of Countermeasures For Official Reception Reform In Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region

Official reception refers to the process of political,economical,cultural and military official activities on the object of official relations performed by organs of the Party and government with the use of the reception function,which ensures the smooth development of official activities when promoting economic construction and culture exchange.However, in recent years,official reception has been abused by some public officials for corruption and personal gain with public funds for recreational activities,travels or other private uses.These vices not only harm the interests of the Party and the state,but also tarnish the image of organs of the Party and government in the hearts of the people.Since the 18th CPC National Congress, official reception reform has been implemented at the central and local governments. With the official reception reform in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region as the case, the thesis combined the theoretical study with the practical situation of the domestic official reception to analyze the need for its reform,discuss the state and problems of the reform as well as the causes,and thus explore the specific path of the official reception reform in line with the characteristics of Inner Mongolia.Since the 18th CPC National Congress,the official reception reform in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has achieved some success after more than two years of practice:more standardized official reception,significant reduction in the cost, gradual popularity of thrift, economy and efficiency,and significant purification of the reception environment.Despite these achievements in reform,there are still many drawbacks and problems:the phenomenon that "rules and regulations are not followed" still exists;some officials are unclear in thinking and understanding, holding negative and backward ideas;the function is single,lacking cooperation and exchange.Official reception cannot reflect the characteristics of Inner Mongolia when complying with policies and regulations.In view of this,the official reception reform should establish a modern concept,standardize the procedures for official reception, improve all kinds of system and deepen the function of cooperation and exchange in order to explore a reception style consistent with thrift when reflecting the national characteristics to create a reception brand full of the characteristics of Inner Mongolia.
