A Study On The Guarantee Of The Exercise Of The Mongolian Election Right In Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region

The right to vote is a basic political right of Chinese citizens,which is universal and equal.However,the guarantee degree of minority right to vote is not only a key indicator to measure the degree of civilization and democracy of a country,but also a key criterion to judge a law-based society and constitutional state.China's constitution and electoral law have created many systems to better protect the right of ethnic minorities to vote.The Mongolian right to vote in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region belongs to the right to vote of ethnic minorities.The current electoral system and the system of regional ethnic autonomy escort the exercise of the Mongolian right to vote in Inner Mongolia autonomous region.The author firstly summarizes the right to vote of Mongolian nationality in Inner Mongolia autonomous region.It includes the general situation of Mongolian people in Inner Mongolia autonomous region,their population characteristics,the definition and nature of the right to vote,and the significance of studying the right to vote in Inner Mongolia autonomous region.Secondly,the author analyzes the status quo of the exercise of the right to vote in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region,and then finds that there are still some shortcomings in the exercise of the right to vote in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region.These include the insufficient guarantee of the electoral system,the loopholes in the electoral procedure,the weak sense of Mongolian participation and the lack of the relief system of Mongolian electoral rights.Thirdly,this paper analyzes the reasons for the exercise of Mongolian right to vote in Inner Mongolia autonomous region.These include the reasons for the electoral system,the economic and cultural development of the Inner Mongolia autonomous region,the unsound laws and regulations on the election and the causes of the participants themselves.Finally,the author discusses the ways to improve the guarantee of the right to vote in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.It includes further strengthening the party'soverall leadership over the protection of minority election rights,strengthening the economic and cultural construction of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,reforming the election process,promoting the improvement of the system and enhancing the awareness of the participation of the right subjects.Based on the actual situation of Inner Mongolia autonomous region,this paper studies the guarantee of the exercise of the right to vote of the Mongolian nationality in Inner Mongolia autonomous region,which plays a very important role in improving the system of regional ethnic autonomy,promoting the construction of democratic politics in China,and promoting the political stability and social harmonious development of the country.
