Research On The Ageing Problem Of City Intermediate And Senior Elder People Living Alone

Recently, the problem of population aging has become more and more serious in China. With the increase of the number and the percentage of intermediate and senior elder people living alone is growing rapidly, the problem of special elder group has become a part of ageing problem which can not be ignored. Meanwhile, with the acceleration of urbanization, the level of pension balance is not high. And the different social characteristics of intermediate and senior elder people living alone is obvious. So it is necessary to solve the pension problem of old people who live alone in order to realize the social fairness and justice between older people.In this paper, we analyze the problem of pension mainly based on the intermediate and senior elder people who live alone in the background of ageing problem and urbanization. First, this paper reviews the research of this problem in recent years and then makes a summary of achievement and insufficiency. Second, we do the research on some streets of Dalian Ganjingzi. All these streets have finish urbanization in last century and keep a high level of urbanization. So these streets are chosen as the surveyed areas.196 intermediate and senior elder people who live alone are chosen to do the research by means of sample survey. By organizing and analyzing the data of these 196 intermediate and senior elder people who live alone, we use the software of SPSS 17.0 and get the situation of life about the intermediate and senior elder people who live alone in Dalian Ganjingzi. The result shows that these people’elderly satisfaction remains to be further improved. The elderly satisfaction is influenced with many factors, such as the relationship with family, the frequency of famly regards, economic and healthy conditions, the sense of fear, happiness, hobbies, self-care ability. Most of this intermediate and senior elder people who live alone prefer to choose the traditional family retirement system mode, and less people choose the nursing institution. The traditional retirement system mode’s influencing factors are the primary caregiver, the attitude to the elder daily service center, the attitude to the pension agency; the retirement system mode of other caregiver’s influencing factors are the primary caregiver, whether the community has the activity places or not, the attitude to the pension agency; the retirement system mode of pension agency’s influencing factors are the children’snumber, the relationship with family, the attitude to the pension agency.At the last we summarize the thesis, find the problems and analysis the problems, then give some views and suggestions to improve the life of the intermediate and senior elder people who live alone. The countermeasures are including four terms. Firstly, in aspect of publicity and education, something should be done as carrying forward to the chinese filial piety culture in new epoch, encouraging the children’s returning and carrying out the support group. Secondly, in the field of pension treatment, something should be done as enhancing the level of pension, establishing the special elder allowance and sharing the pension funds gradually. Thirdly, in side of retirement system mode, something should be done as perfecting the home endowment servicing system and promoting the industrialization of pension pattern. The fourthly, through the in-depth study of different aspects, rising the level of the elderly life in the intermediate and senior elder people who live alone.
