The “people Oriented; People Foremost” Ideology And Healthy Development Of China’s Urbanization

The development of urbanization in China has entered a new stage with decades of efforts. After the land urbanization and population urbanization boom subsided, the Chinese government proposed a new way of urbanization construction, and its core is "human" urbanization. How to develop the "human" urbanization needs to explore both the theory and practice. Based on the history and current situation of Chinese urbanization development, the purpose of this paper is to put forward the "people oriented; people foremost" as the basic principles of the future development of China’s urbanization and to plan out the rational development direction.The thesis is divided into six parts. As an introduction, the first part describes the research background, significance and the current research situation of the paper, and highlights the results of theoretical studies of Chinese urbanization. The second part is the first chapter of the paper text. It introduces the definition, purpose and significance of urbanization, and points out the connotation and requirements of "people oriented; people foremost" urbanization development. The second chapter firstly summarizes the history of the development of urbanization by studying the development stage and the development mode of urbanization. Then from the "people oriented; people foremost" perspective, it sums up the problems existing in the process of urbanization development in our country, and analyses the causes of the problem deeply at the same time, which mainly related to the central government’s institutional design, the behavior of local governments and civil society participation. The third chapter reviews the experience and lessons of foreign urbanization development, and refines beneficial reference of the development of urbanization of our country. The fourth chapter is the theoretical innovation part of the paper. It provides countermeasures to solve the current problem of urbanization development, the specific suggestions on the future "people oriented; people foremost" urbanization development direction. The last part reiterated the "people oriented; people foremost" ideology, its major role and significance for the healthy development of China’s urbanization, then summarizes the full thesis.
