| With the aggravation of the aging society,and under the background of the small-sized family structure,the problem of elderly care has been a hot topic in China.Since 1982,Suzhou has stepped into the aging society,which was 18 years earlier than the national average level.In recent years,with the deepening of the degree of aging in Suzhou,the growth rate of old-aged disabled people and the deepening divide in the aging process are restricting the development of our society.Moreover,with the vulnerable characteristics of both old-aged people and disabled people,the elderly care for the disabled people has become more and more serious,in respect that disabled people over 60 years old are deprived of both working and self-care ability,who can just live a hard life with the help of family members and few social pension services.By the end of 2018,the population of disabled people has come up to 135,930.Among them,the number of disabled people over 60 years old has reached 60,111,accounting for 44.22%of the whole,almost half of the populationUp till now,the elderly care mode for disabled people can be divided into two types.The ancient types can be categorized into home-based care,community nursing service and institutional old-age care.While the new types are smart elderly care,mutual aid for the elderly,housing endowment and so on.Based on the need of the research,the paper concludes the elderly care mode for the disabled people into 5 categories,which are home-based care,community nursing service,institutional old-age care,smart elderly care,and mutual aid for the elderly.Despite that previous studies on elderly care mode mostly focused on usual old-aged people,irregardless of the particularity of disabled old people,which lacking professional and pointed studies on elderly care mode for the disabled.Thus,based on the present old-care situation in Suzhou,the paper explores systematized professional and pluralism old-care services for the disabled people,aiming to analyze the current situation of social pension for disabled old-aged people,to seek for strategies to solve the problem of elderly care,and to promote the progressing process of old-age care for disabled people. |
