Study On The Improvement Of Rural Women’s Scientific And Cultural Quality In Xiapu County,Ningde City

With the advance of urbanization and the adjustment of rural industrial structure, most male labor forces are leaving the lands to become migrant workers or run business themselves. Consequently, women in the rural area have become the main force in the agricultural development. Women are important forces in the promotion of the adjustment of agricultural and rural economic structure, in the maintenance of social stability in rural areas and in the construction of the new socialistic countryside. Their scientific and cultural qualities have great influence on the construction of new countryside. By conducting a research on promoting the scientific and cultural quality of rural women in Xiapu county, this article provides specific and valuable academic reference to enhance the scientific and cultural quality of rural women in order to assist in improving the current situation. Furthermore, it is hoped the findings will serve as reference and guidance for other areas.This paper mainly employs such research methods as the questionnaire survey, field interviews, literature review and mathematical statistics to analyze the current situation of the scientific and cultural quality of rural women in Xiapu county from six aspects, including the educational level, the awareness of science and technology, the practice ability of science and technology, the attitude towards science and technology, the ability of obtaining science and technology information and the value orientation. At the beginning, the research finds out that the educational level of the subject is generally low, the consciousness of science and technology remains to be enhanced, their practical ability is quite weak, the willingness to accepting the new technology is not weak, the ways of obtaining scientific and technological information are limited and the management ability are not adapted to the new rural construction. Then, the paper analyzes the possible constraints from social factors, family factors and personal factors. Finally, the paper puts forward the countermeasures to enhance the scientific and cultural quality of rural women in Xiapu county according to the research results in the hope of making contributions to the development of Xiapu county.
