Investigating the revolution of identification of society members, two typical types can be generalized according to the process of human society:subject and citizen. In agricultural society, members of the society appear as subjects; in industrial society, they appear as citizens. From main opinions of modern times, there is no liberalistic "individual" in social administrations. A social administrator is always acting as a member of a specific community. In a sense, it is an intertwining relationship between the system of social administration, the form of community, and identification of society members. In historical point of view, social administration of specific historical period and the form of community together determine the character and status of the identification of society members. Vice versa, the identification of the society members stabilizes the form of community and system of social administration. Therefore, it can be predicted that the historical change of identification of the society members can be a viewing angle to understand the revolution of social administration. This paper shows that the shaping and change of the identifications of being subjects and citizens are determined by features of time and its system of social administration, which means they exist in the demand of time. Thus, to criticize the identification of citizenship in a context of globalization and post-industrialization, the author believes that it is necessary to sublate the static thinking way of managing society, and try to rebuild and redefine a social management system and social members’identification with dynamic thinking. This paper also analyzes the possibility of citizenship disappeared on the aspects of civil right’s defect and formalization of participating, through the explanation about the historical background of actors and the transformation of social administration, in order to define a new definition of identification.Specifically, this paper will analyzes, in the interpreting frame of "agricultural society--- industrial society--- post-industrialization period", the identification of society members and its change in accordance with features of each historical time period. This thesis consists of five parts besides the introduction:the first part gives an general discussion of the theme, providing the normative basis for the overall research through an introduction of the frames, norms, and concepts related to this thesis. In the second part, features of subjects and citizens, rights, and obligations of members of society are discussed, on this basis, it could be concluded that the changing process of agricultural society to the industrial society is represented by the shift of identification from subject to citizen for members of the society, which actually marks as a symbolic leaping of political civilization. The third part gives emphasis to an analysis of the situations of various social member identifications are confronted and accepted in society. On basis of all round perspectives of discussion on the aspects of civil right’s defect and formalization of participating, and the government administration and control in social activities, it gives a clue to the reason why the social member identification is waning. While in the fourth part of the thesis, attempts to reform these two kinds of social identifications are introduced, and it is analyzed why these attempts would fail. Then the thesis focuses on an observation of the current era features. As the society is featured by an highly openness and mobility along with globalization, its system of social administration has showed momentum of transformation. Based on the analysis, an assumption of actors as the substitution of citizenship is brought froward. Through the grasp of the multiple connotations and denotations of actors, the thesis points out that actors and the construction of service-oriented government are developing in mutual promotion. The last part of the thesis is the conclusion.
