As a kind of effective motivation method,Promotion system not just to improve the enthusiasm of the members in organizations, but also to make great contribution to the organization’s work efficiency virtually. Therefore, it is absolutely not to ignore the importance of promotion system, and we should be attached great importance to it. The same goes for the police organization. A set of perfect system of police organization promotion, not only can improve the police officers’ economic and political treatment, increase the police officers’ working enthusiasm, but also can make the jobs of the police organization will develop orderly. Only in this way can we keep the peace effectively,and protect the legitimate rights and interests of the people.But in real life, there are many problems in the police organization’s promotion system,such as the structure of the position is not reasonable, promotion criteria is imperfect,and so on. No doubt these problems are make promotion system can not play its role, leading to the police officers did not take responsibility for works, the police organization was still in disarray, and the unstable factors in society also increased. A series of problems are warning us, the reforms to the promotion system of police organization are clearly in order and brook no delay.In order to solve the problem,specific measures and suggestions are put forward to deal with related affairs. After a deep analysis of the promotion system, the first is to be adjusted to the unreasonable position structure, to distinguish the types of jobs and make corresponding promotion criteria combining with job characteristics; Second, the promotion way in diversification is must be formulated, making the best officers have the opportunity to seek progress; Again, Applicability Assessment System to the police officers who has been promoted should be increased, making sure that correspondence between police officers and the positions; Finally, fully ensuing the whole promotion process fair is most important.Sorting out the problems of the promotion system in police organization and solve the problems effectively, only in the way can we play the incentives effect of promotion system in police organizations, protect the legitimate rights and interests of police officers,meanwhile,it can ensure social stability and guarantee the safety of people’s life and property from the side.
