Study On Political Culture Of Tu Nationality In Huzhu Tu Autonomous County

Tu nationality is one of the ethnic minorities in Northwest China, with less population and its distinctive national feature, attracting many researchers’ attention. Huzhu Tu Autonomous County is the only Tu Autonomous County in our country, is also the largest Tu communities. Previous studies on Tu nationality mainly focused on the origin and history, folk custom, religion, the chieftain system, language and so on, and achieved fruitful results. But from the perspective of political science, political culture as the research object to Tu nationality there isn’t much to see. This paper takes the Huzhu Tu Autonomous County as a starting point of political culture of Tu nationality, makes empirical research on the Tu People’s political cognition, political emotion, political evaluation in the new period, understand the causes of formation of its political culture and its development trend and put forward corresponding constructive ways.Based on the summary of the characteristics of political culture of Tu nationality, the author analyzes the influencing factors such as the local natural-historical factors, the level of economic development and education, the process of political development in the formation and development of political culture of Tu nationality. Then put forward the path selection to strengthen the national political culture: promoting the national economy to provide impetus for the development of national political culture; developing the national education in order to enhance people’s cultural quality and provide intellectual support for national political cultural; improving the democratic system to provide an institutional guarantee for the development of political culture; optimizing the political socialization way to provide effective communication channel for the dissemination of mainstream political culture.
