The Research Level Of Gansu Rural Women’s Rights And Interests

Safeguarding the rights and interests of women in rural areas is an important problem of maintaining all women’s rights and interests. As Gansu province’s economy and society develop continuously, in the continuous there are big improvements of rural women’s living conditions and social status. However, from both the women’s actual experiences and the result of investigation toward them, rural women’s conception towards gender equality is still relatively conservative, the phenomenon that rural women’s rights are been infringement are quite common, discrimination towards women still exists, their social status is still low, not only are all these phenomenon contradictive to the pursuit of gender equality, they are also not compatible with Gansu provincial development strategy of constructing a happy and prosperous new Gansu.This paper compares huge amounts of data obtained in women’s social status survey in Gansu Province, draws conclusions of the real situation of Gansu rural women’s right protection of the right, and analyzes the causes of the problems, and put forward some rational suggestions.Firstly, the paper draws forth the meanings of carrying out the research through elaborating some problems of women’s right protection. The first chapter introduces the background and meanings of researching the protection of the rights and interests of rural women in Gansu province, and also retrospect relevant domestic laws and regulations and research papers, propose the a clear ideas and methods about how the thesis is writ.The second chapter illustrates the theoretical basis of improving the research about rural women’s rights and interests’ protection, including the ideological foundation, formation and the sanitization of the Marx doctrine theory of women.The third chapter, based on large number of data and documents, elaborates the status quo of rural women’s right protection from the aspect of rural women’s political rights, culture and education rights, social security rights, and working conditions and economic status, health rights, marriage and family, etc. Then it combines the women’s work experience, the facts reflecting by the data and related policy, analyzes the causes of infringement of rural women’s rights and interests in Gansu province.The fourth chapter puts forward suggestions and solutions to the problems come up in the last chapter.Through analysis and research, that enhance the security of rights and interests of rural women in Gansu Province, we must strengthen theideological guide, focus on the construction of advanced gender culture;to promote the policy of reconstruction, and constantly improve the laws and regulations and public policy system; the rational allocation of resources, exploitation and utilization of rural women human resources;improve the policy measures, enhance the level of social security of rural women; intensifying guidance, focus on rural women’s health measuresto realize. The protection of the rights and interests of rural women to enhance the level, help us to find out the cause of the infringement ofrural women’s rights and interests, and find the effective method to enhance the security of rural women’s rights and interests, which is to promote the social harmony and stability, has the important significance to speed up the construction of a beautiful new Gansu.
