Research On College-Graduate Village Official System Construction Of China

The rural areas in China nowadays are facing some problems, such as low overall caliber from the administration, low scientific and cultural level from the villagers. To have a sustainable and healthy development, the rural areas require comprehensive talented personnel who master abundant knowledge, proficient working skills, active thinking and creativity. To select and engage college student village officials to hold a post in the village administration is not only good to cultivate the outstanding cadres at the grassroots level whom the building of socialist new countryside requires, but also very significant to build a moderately prosperous society in all respects and fulfill common prosperity.Now the system of college student village officials has been implemented widely in most rural areas in China and has a good accomplishment. However, as a newly sprouted thing, the system of college student village officials will inevitably bring many problems during its continuously building and improvement, such as unsound welfare system, imperfect job distributary system after tenure. The basic reasons causing these problems are lack of relevant laws and policies, imperfect system for selecting and training, evaluating and supervising, job description, dynamic management.This essay studies the accomplishments made and problems brought during the building of the system of college student village officials.
