The Current Our Country Citizens’ Problems And Countermeasures In Social Public Ethics

Social public ethics is an important part of social morality and occupies an important position in the system of social morality. It is the rule of public life that forms in people’s long-term social interaction and it is the most basic moral norms that each social member must abide by. It has the characteristics of inheritance, basic, comprehensive and conciseness. To strengthen the construction of social public ethics is beneficial to improve the level of citizen’s social morality and improve the level of civilization of the whole society and promote the development of the socialist harmonious society and establishing good image of the country.The current Our citizens still exist many problems in terms of social morality which mainly reflects in:weak awareness of social public ethics, bottom line of social public ethics indistinct, the concept of honor and disgrace upside down, knowledge and practice division. The reasons for these problems are mainly the large income gap between the members of society, the wrong exemplary role of the "elites", the unsound mechanism of praising virtue and punishing vice and the lack of carrying forward for the traditional virtue.To solve the problems of citizen’s social public ethics and improve the level of citizens’ social public ethics, we can take a various of measures which including:develop the productive forces and achieve social equity and justice; strengthen the construction of the rule of law and improve the mechanism of praising virtue and punishing vice; strengthen citizens’ social public ethics education; play a ethics model demonstration effect.
