Food is of paramount importance to people, and safety is of the fundamental requirement for food.At present, the issues of food safety get more and more attention of governments at all levels.Although the government implements various policies to solve the food quality and safety problem, a variety of food safety incidents still occurred frequently, especially in the rural areas,for example "the sudan red" the event, "the melamine poisonous powdered milk" the event, "the thin carnosine" the event as well as "the white arsenic gate", "the ditch oil" and so on the events.The rural became the worst-hit areas of food quality and safety.The regulatory of food safety in rural areas has just started and the regulatory work is to be improved.ln recent years, with the deepening of the new rural construction in our country,people’s living standards have improved a lot, and it’s rural population accounts for more than 80% of the population.The food security problem relates citizen’s life and health,relates national and society’s stability and advancement.lt is of great theoretical value and practical significance to study China’s food safety and its regulatory systems.Based on rural food safety supervision as the research object, using literature analysis, comparative analysis, interview method and qualitative analysis.
