Research On The Food Market Stakeholders’ Action And The Regulation

Food safety issues involves multi-stakeholder, a wide range of sectors and part of the complex, China needs to respond to and deal with food safety issues in the period. Improvement of production technology, development of biotechnology, industrialization promotion promotes the development of food industry and eases the quantity of food safety. At the same time, consumers increasingly attend and aware the quality, safety, health and nutrition of food, Even they will to pay more for the price. Since the late20th century, food safety incidents have occurred repeatedly. Not only consumers and related industries suffered enormous economic losses, but also it caused significant damage for the human body and health and undermined consumer confidence. At present, academic research on food safety issues focus on the regulatory regime, full supervision from farm to table the whole food chain and comparison of Chinese and foreign research. But the research for the interests of the food chain stakeholders behavior is not much. Lack of research on consumers, the food industry, government and other stakeholders, lead to that we can’t grasp consumer demand, food companies will, government regulation, and other key factors affecting the efficiency of the implementation of food safety regulations to implement efficient and that the results will lead to the low efficiency of the food safety market supervision.To elicit food businesses, consumers and government that is key stakeholders on food market, the first part of this article discusses the interests of stakeholders meaning and classification.On the one hand the second part of this paper describes the theoretical basis and respect of stakeholders selected food market behavior; on the other hand it analyses the objective conflict of interest among food businesses, consumers and government.Based on the current situation of the food stakeholders, the third part of this paper introduces the method and interest coordinating mechanism.In short, this paper bases on stakeholder theory to analyse the major stakeholders in food safety behaviors and Game, objectively reflect food safety problems in China and propose specific solutions.
