Study On Probation Community Corrections

Probation Community Corrections is a non-custodial sentence that corrects probationers in communities. Its aim is to help the probationers to rebuild the personality systems which are more adapted to the society by using professional methods of social work. This paper reviews the development of probation community corrections, and does analysis from different aspects of community corrections contents. It uses the knowledge of sociology, law, and statistics. The studying object is Zibo City Community. According to the research of the relevant circumstances, these papers analyzes the problems and constraints, and try to explore how to strengthen the management of probation community corrections, play better effects, and build probation community corrections system with Chinese characteristics.This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, which mainly states the background of the paper and the theoretical and practical significance of probation community corrections research. It explains the literatures at home and abroad, and mentions the theoretical basis of this article to define the core concepts and research methods. The second chapter analyzes the condition of the probation community corrections. It starts from the basic situation of probation community corrections, doing research by combining the probationers and workers. And it analyzes the measures and the development of community corrections. The third chapter combines the investigations of Zibo City and analyzes the problems of probation community corrections by using statistical analysis method. It summarizes the problems respectively at three levels: the laws and regulations, the management system, and the measures of probation community corrections Community Corrections. The forth chapter analyzes the constraints of probation community corrections issues that arise from the probationers themselves, community corrections workers and the operations of probation community corrections. The fifth chapter states the measures to improve probation community corrections: Establish probation community corrections laws system; innovate in the management system; perfect the evaluation system; establish the multi-channel working system for probationers; create a favorable support for community corrections with the participation of enterprises, the government and the community.
