Research Formation And Cultivation Of College Student CPP Members’ Awareness Of Responsibility

In the Outstanding Youngster Conference, President Xi pointed out that the young is an energetic and creative group, which leads the fashion of the whole society. The Chinese Communist Party always considers the young as the pioneer of the development of our CCP and society, among whom the most outstanding ones, bearing more social responsibilities and attracting more public attentions, could be the positive examples that others, young or old, are supposed to follow. Therefore, having been aware of their influences to the other students, CCP members in universities should, to some extent, fulfill their responsibilities and duties in order to set an excellent example to the young people, through their thoughts and actions. Their awareness of responsibility is the core requirement of the qualities CCP student members must have. So how much and effective the influence can be among the college students depends largely on how well their awareness of responsibility can be. Meanwhile, the training for such consciousness is not only the core of the construction of teams of college CCP members, but also a major index for evaluating the effectiveness of college politics education. The amelioration and improvement of the quality of such a training program have, to some degree, an impact on the scientific development of Chinese-featured Socialism, as well as the construction of cadre teams. In current situations, some of the student CCP members,in particular, have gradually lost such consciousness, which not only exerts a negative influence on the CCP groups as well as each individual, but also brings such educational problems onto the surface. This can be a new task as well as a new challenge for politics education in universities.After clearly defining the basic connotations of college student CCP members’ awareness of responsibility, this thesis discusses the formation mechanism and cultivating pattern of college student CCP members. At the same time, it summarizes and finds out the current problems of college student CCP members’ awareness of responsibility, explores the reason and puts forward the specific solutions to the problems from two angles of heteronomy and self-discipline.The whole thesis is divided into four parts.The first part presents the basic concepts and definitions of college student CCP members’ awareness of responsibility and analyzes the basic constitution of college student CCP members’ awareness of responsibility according to the requirement of the new age and the new situation. It draws theoretical support from the concept of ideology, youth and education of classical Marxist writers and from the Chinese traditional moral values and regards them as its basic theoretical premise.The second part describes the formation mechanism of college student CCP members to cultivate an awareness responsibility and experience. Two formation mechanisms are mentioned, i.e., internal and external mechanisms. The internal is elaborated from internalization and externalization respects. The external discusses the impact of external factors affecting the mechanism of social thought and so on. Basic features and lessons concluded from the two aspects of nurturing experience, in order to achieve the theoretical study of this upgrade, explore the theoretical framework of this study.The third part analyzes the characteristics of the college students’ awareness of CCP members’ responsibility, by means of questionnaire survey and interviews. It analyzes the main trend and weakening of college students’ awareness of responsibility and sense of responsibility of weakening performance. The reasons for such a trend and weakness have been analyzed from social, educational and individual perspectives.The fourth part unfolds the problems and reasons for the diminishing of college student CCP members’ awareness of responsibility. It proposes the basic principles of college student CCP members to cultivate their awareness of responsibility. It further explores the effective routes to cultivate college student CCP members’ awareness based on value correction, breakout mode and agents’ consciousness. The end of the part discusses the results and implications.
