The Positive Youth Development Of Migrant Worker’s Children Under The Perspective Of Social Exclusion

With the rapid advance of urbanization in our country, Migrant worker’s children as a special group, whose social integration situation has gradually got the attentions of the society from all walks of life. The research of risk and protective factors proves that basis of the theory for the positive development is existence, and also shows that the youth who are more adept in controlling their inner and outer advantages will more easily possess positive dominant factors of their healthy growth. Then, based on the qualitative interviews with migrant worker’s children, their parents and teachers in the perspective of social exclusion, the paper deeply studied on positive youth development problems of the migrant worker’s children through the analysis of the qualitative interviews materials and relevant references, and put forward some policy recommendations.According to the analysis of qualitative materials and references above, the paper obtained the following conclusions:First of all, migrant worker’s children still suffered from the individual perplexity exclusion and social thesis exclusion in the process of social integration, these exclusions caused the general, current and long-term negative influences which related to social exclusion will impact on the migrant worker’s children’s positive developments; What’s more, research on positive youth development perspectives deems that teenagers have the advantage of self-changes, we can increase the possibility of happiness and the comprehensive development of teenagers by adjusting the advantages of teenagers in puberty and social intercourses, and this will play the positive roles in changing the negative impacts which appears in the growing process of migrant worker’s children; Thirdly, based on the analysis, we consider that it is necessary for us to implement the positive development plans, which covers15kinds of core constructs, to migrant worker’s children. Our country have already carried out some positive development plans and received effective remarkable outcomes. Finally, the government and the social from all walks of life should strengthen the relief of migrant children to create favorable conditions for migrant children’s development and social intercourses, and to enhance migrant children’s advantages of self-change.On this basis, the paper suggests that some favorable conditions should be established to promote the positive youth development of migrant worker’s children in their puberty and social intercourses. First, we should construct platform for migrant workers’employment, training and education, gradually improve the individual perplexity exclusion; Second, further improvement of school policies of migrant worker’s children should be taken to eliminate social thesis rejections step by step; Third, migrant worker’s children schools can open courses related to positive youth development, and we should also make full use of the peer and school educations to eliminate the harmful effects of the social exclusion.
