Nowadays,China is in the transition period of the reform and opening-up and also in the whirlpool of social risks and contradictions. Under this historical background, food safety issues have a direct relationship with people’s livelihood and social stability. As a result, discovering the problems as well as finding solutions during the food safety management is of great importance. In China, the major method used in the food safety management is government regulation. Though expressing the rule of law, this method can not fundamentally solve the complex food safety problems in China. Therefore, learning managerial experience from developed countries and meanwhile trying to find a multi-agent coordination management method suitable for China’s situation are very practical for us.
