Research On The Problems And Solutions Of Nanjing’s Social Organizations

Since the reform and opening up, our country social organizations in both the quantityand quality have been booming, especially since the21st century, with the adjustment of theeconomic and social transformation and the further development of civil society, socialorganizations entered a new development opportunity. As the third sector, social organizationshave played a huge and un-ignorable role in promoting economic development andmaintaining social stability and so on. Therefore, in the twelfth “Five-year plan" for nationaleconomic and social development program, it is pointed out that we should not only improvethe development of social organizations but also do well in supervision and management, andattach equal importance to both to promote the healthy and orderly development of socialorganizations to play their positive role in various fields, such as economy and socialconstruction. The report of18th CPC further stressed that we should speed up forming themodern social organization system of separating the government and society, explicit powerand responsibility, in accordance with the law of autonomy to guide the healthy developmentof social organizations.During the twelfth “Five-year plan" period, on the way of realizing the basicmodernization first, driven in the "three for a gen" goal, Nanjing social organizationdevelopment opened a new situation and made a new breakthrough. In2014, Nanjing wasselected as "national social organization construction innovation demonstration zone", with thepowerful opportunity of Asian Youth Games and Youth Olympic Games, social organizationconstruction of Nanjing will take a big step forward.Based on consulting relevant literatures and field research, this paper probes into the factthat Nanjing social organizations still exist many shortcomings under the good situation, such as in the growing pressure of social public service and the imperfect mechanism of supervisionand management of social organizations, etc. Then in the basis of introducing the experiencesof the development of social organizations in developed countries abroad, it has a preliminarysummary for the healthy and orderly development of Nanjing social organization. Finally,adhering to the idea of finding, analyzing and solving the problem, it puts forward thecorresponding suggestions and countermeasures for the Nanjing government in promoting theorderly development of social organization and realizing social organization innovationmanagement development.
