The Research About The Problems For Chinese Non-profit Organization To Undertake Social Responsibility

Since1970s,Non-profit Organization has developed rather rapidly worldwidely.NPO is one of the main driving forces for the development of international society and economy,and it is an new force for the development and reform of the society in pluralistic times.Currently,Chinese academics are focusing their attention on the subjects of definition and classification,operational mechanism,development difficulties,solving ways and future trend,and have got rich achievements.But,in the meantime,we must notice that Chinese academics did little research on the social responsibility of NPO.Since the Reform and Opening Up,Chinese Non-profit Organization developed very fast,and made a contribution to the development of the economy,the reform of the government and the progress of the socitey.But there still exist lots of problems in the aspect of social responsibility of NPO.These problems will not only prevent the further mature and perfection of the NPO,but also make negative effect for the normal operation of the society.So, it’s meaningful for us to do deep research on how the NPO can take social responsibility more efficiently.Considering this, based on the domestic and external results,this article uses the methods of document analysis and empirical study to do some research on the social responsibility of NPO from the perspective of multi-disciplinary such as Politics,Administration Science,Sociology and Ethnics.Firstly, this article gives the definition of the social responsibility of NPO from the aspects of main body,object and content.After that, this article gives the theotetical basis for the analysis of the whole article.Next, based on the real conditions of our country,the author analyse the necessity and feasibility for NPO to take social responsibility,from the perspective of government failure, market failure,civil society and social security.The NPO still face lots of problems in responsibility,power,interest and resource,and the causes are the imperfection of law,the loopholes of the system of dual control,the lack of supervisery mechanism and the lack of self-management.The government,the market,the society and the NPO must work together to solve these problems.Because of the restriction of data collection and professional knowledge, the research of this article still need to be consummated. The analysis and countermeasures in this article may provide reference for making policy. In this way, we can promote the development of Chinese Non-profit Organization.
