Market And Public Welfare: A Comparative Study Of Elderly Service Organizations

As the province with the highest degree of aging in China,Jiangsu Province has a huge old-age care market and urgent pension needs.At the same time,as the second largest economy in China,it is suitable for the development of a diversified pension service model in which multiple entities participate.In 2017,Jiangsu Province fully liberalized the old-age pension market and encouraged social forces to inject.After the private actors played the leading role,the people nutrition and old service organizations developed rapidly under the guidance and encouragement of policies.In this paper,for-profit pension service organization(X old-age service company)and non-profit old-age service organization(Y old-age service organization)as the research object,using the field investigation method and SWOT analysis method,first on the service model,service target and service team,The organizational structure,social adaptability,and economic and social benefits at the current stage analyze the status quo of the development of the two types of aged care organizations in five aspects.Second,the advantages and disadvantages of the two types of organizations and the opportunities and challenges faced by the external environment are different.By contrast,summed up the common problems of the two types of service organizations,and finally explore the space,purpose and method of social work intervention based on the analysis of the issues.Through comparative research,it is found that the common problems existing in for-profit and non-profit aged care organizations are poor stability of operational teams,lack of human resources,inadequate pension service system,and disruption of social workers,service quality control mechanisms are not perfect.In accordance with the problem-oriented thinking of social work,this paper explores effective ways for social work to get involved in the care of elderly services on the common problems existing in the two types of organizations,mainly including the space,purpose,and approach of social work:attempting to use social work organization models and volunteer services.Project-oriented operation mode and social work advocacy mode The three professional modes solve the problems in the areas of social work that exist in the old-age service organizations,so as to achieve the goals of improving the quality of care services for the aged,improving the service system for the aged,and expanding the organization of the aged care service.The old people create a good environment for the provision of old-age care services and promote social harmony and progress.
