The Research Of Policing Management For Public Security College Students

Country’s long-term peace and order can’t do without social harmony and stability, and achieving social harmony is inseparable from a powerful safeguard by public security organs, it’s crucial that a police college which is responsible for cultivating the police talents should figure out how to train a combat-worthy police force. Policing management is a unique management mode, through years of improvement, policing management in police colleges has gained a lot of achievements, cultivating groups of public security policemen, however, with the development of the society, the drawbacks of the policing management are gradually distinct, therefore, the studying of policing management problems, analyzing their causes, and putting forward corresponding countermeasures are an important topic.This thesis focuses on this point, the combination of theoretical analysis and investigation is adopted, ways of questionnaire and interview method are used, based on reality, the paper explores the policing management problems and causes through an empirical analysis on policing management in WH Police College, and proposes the countermeasures.Firstly, the thesis explicates the concept of policing management, analyzing the concept and the purpose of policing management, the main contents and the necessity of policing management, illustrating the significance of policing management research, and secondly, the author takes WH Police College as an example, doing some empirical research about policing management, the ways of questionnaire and interview survey are used, the current four aspects of problems which exist in public security colleges implementing policing management are evaluated, including emphasis on management and with the light ideological education; attaching more importance to form than content; more focuses on discipline than communication; more attention paid to unity than personality, then, the causes are analyzed from three aspects, that is:the social factors, school factors and student personal factors.In view of the problems existing in policing management, combining with requirements for policing management work in the new period, the author attempts to put forward general train of thought and four aspects of measures to improve policing management, namely, strengthening policing management from the management system, management team, operation mode and detailed daily management respectively.
