A Research On Mediation Mechanism Of Social Conflict In Transition

With the rapid development and progress of China’s social and economictransformation of society， various social conflicts and disputes generate increasingly.These social conflicts and disputes are complex. It is of practical significance to study howto resolve disputes effectively and create a good atmosphere for social development.With the social conflicts and disputes as the starting point， we tried to analyze theperformance of our current major social conflicts and disputes， characteristics and causesin this paper. Then we not only introduced mediation mechanism of social conflict intransition， but also have made a discussion on the problems of the system ofIntermediation. On the basis of these we put forward three suggestions for the furtherestablish and improve our system of Intermediation: Firstly，we should develop norms ofuniversal significance of the intermediation law and professional mediation law. And thenwe must Amendment Arbitration Law, which protecting the smooth implementation ofintermediation work， and guiding people through the appropriate way to resolve thedisputes. Secondly，we should accelerate key industry areas of professional mediationorganizations， such as medical disputes, labor disputes, land acquisition mediationorganizations, in order to solve these large and prominent contradictions and disputes.Finally，we should build a Comprehensive Mediation that convergence of different meansof conciliation and collaboration mechanisms. We should try to integrate the resources andform a concerted effort so that that disputes could be better resolved.
