The issue of the Diaoyu Islands is a key issue in Relations between China andJapan. In2011, the Japanese Prime Minister Noda Yoshihiko “nationalized” the DiaoyuIslands;this action has attracted extensive attention from the international community.Then, Kan Naoto was elected Prime Minister of Japan. He continued to take measureson the Diaoyu Islands issue, until Abe Shinzo was re-elected Prime Minister of Japan,many methods and measures has been taken from the international and domestic aspects.He exploited the Diaoyu Islands issue to his advantage, these actions directly affectregional stability and the relationship between the two countries.It is necessary tounderstand and analysis these measures and countermeasures, and it has positivesignificance to analyze the strategic decision of Japan and attitude towards China. Thisessay analyze both on theory and practice, one can study the Japanese governmentbehavior, on the other hand can also analyze the deep reason of its behavior, this studyis positive to analyze the development of the relationship between China and Japan.This essay is divided into six parts:The guide part mostly explains the significance, situation, purpose and methods ofthe research.The first chapter explains the changes on the Diaoyu Islands political ideas ofJapanese government in a theoretical perspective. Theory related the reality of theDiaoyu Islands issue, Analyzing the actions and initiatives to deal with the issue of theDiaoyu Islands by the Japanese government in different periods, and then explain theinfluence of psychological factors on the two party political decisions. Furtheranalyzing the political factors at international and domestic, and the influence of the tworegimes.The second chapter explains the legal system and the basic policy of the Japanese government for the territorial issue. This chapter is divided into three parts, part one: theevolution of the basic law, part two: The evolution of the basic system construction, partthree: the evolution of managing the international issues.The third chapter mainly elaborates the response measures of democratic regimeand the Liberal Democratic Party regime for the Diaoyu Islands issue measures,including three aspects of political economic and military, and selected domestic andinternational public relations and public opinion control perspective.The fourth chapter, through the comparison of the Japanese government to dealwith the issue of the Diaoyu Islands three regime under the helm of Kan Naoto, NodaYoshihiko and Abe Shinzo from different angles, the measures of the same and differentpoints, both the interpretation of three government response to the Diaoyu Islands issuemeasures in their own unique characteristics, but also has a similar cross. This chapterpointed out that the Japanese government to deal with the issue of the Diaoyu Islands,the measures are in fact exacerbated the plight of Japan on the Diaoyu Islands issue, andthe extension of the crisis for Japan.The last part is the conclusion of this essay, from the global perspective,expounding the response measures of the Japanese Government for the Diaoyu Islandsissue measures. Overall, through the holistic demonstration and analysis, from thestrategic level to explain the Japanese government as to predict the future trend andprovide effective angle of view.
