A Comparative Study Of Position And The Corresponding On The Diaoyu Islands Issue For The Japanese Government In The New Period

The issue of the Diaoyu Islands is a key issue in Relations between China andJapan. In2011, the Japanese Prime Minister Noda Yoshihiko “nationalized” the DiaoyuIslands；this action has attracted extensive attention from the international community.Then, Kan Naoto was elected Prime Minister of Japan. He continued to take measureson the Diaoyu Islands issue, until Abe Shinzo was re-elected Prime Minister of Japan,many methods and measures has been taken from the international and domestic aspects.He exploited the Diaoyu Islands issue to his advantage, these actions directly affectregional stability and the relationship between the two countries.It is necessary tounderstand and analysis these measures and countermeasures, and it has positivesignificance to analyze the strategic decision of Japan and attitude towards China.
