A Case Study Of Nanjing MeiYuan Street To Explore The Development Of Urban Community Social Organizations And The Growth Of Civil Society

With the deepening of urbanization, resulting in community social organization has been considerable development in recent years. A huge number of community social organizations as a new force in the provision of public services, they has been brought a wide range of services for the community and residents. At same time, how to develop these community society organizations orderly has become an issue of concern to many scholars. At present, although the domestic research of community social organizations is increasingly, but research is not mature enough and perfect, the research of correlation between the growth of civil society and community social organizations development is still lacking. This article is based on a study of the situation.The study is divided into four parts:The first part:Briefly explain the background and significance of the study, literature review and the questions and methods of research.The second part:Combing and generalize the development overview of civil society and community social organizations,as can be seen from the historical development of civil society and the current state of development of community social organizations, social environment has provided space and grassroots strength for civil society to grow.The third part:Into the community, with the actual interviews, analyzed the current situation and problems of Nanjing MeiYuan Stree community social organizations.Including street overview,’1+1+X’park development model of community social organizations, the original loose community social organizations changed in this model, different types of social organizations in the community to bring a variety of services to residents and communities.Meanwhile, according to the past learned informations and the interviews of social organizations service park, i summarizes the current problems of the development of MeiYuan stree community social organizations.The forth part:Firstly, the actual sums up the role of community social organizations to the growth of civil society, reflects the correlation between the two; Secondly, combining the issues in the previous chapter, the paper proposed the targeted development path of community social organizations in the sense of civil society.Including the proposed micro-macro aspects of the proposals on legal, institutional and policy, as well as community social organization’s own capacity building,human resources, and service projects.This study suggests that, although currently there is no formation of civil society in the true sense, the development of community social organization is uneven, but the community social organization has become a grassroots force of civil society plays an irreplaceable role. Moreover, the relationship between social organization, state and society would be a non-reciprocal substitute partnership in the future.
