In the current stage, improving the floating children’ssocial services is the requirement of innovating social service management mode andbuilding a service-oriented government, is the guarantee to build a socialistharmonious society and realize the goal to attempt to build a beautiful society in allrespect.At the same time, research of floating children’s social services is also aneffective complement to sociological theory in our country and has an importantpractical and theoretical significance. The problem of floating children has violated theprinciple of fairness and justice in our country, hinder the realization of the equal basicpublic services in our country, but the construction of social service system isbeneficial to solve the social problem of floating children and promote the realizationof social justice. Floating children’s social requirements include: basic living, basiceducation, mental health and social integration. Social service system plays animportant role in the process of solving the problem of floating children, offers a varietyof effective ways to solve the problem of floating children, increase self ability offloating children, improve the living conditions of the floating children to make thembetter adapt to city life.In this paper, the writer use case interview and questionnaire investigation methodto realise the current present situation of the floating children’s social services, thetheory of structural functionalism, social exclusion, and social construction, andcommunity theory as a foundation, discussing the problems existing in the floatingchildren’s social services during the urbanization process, analyzing the practicalreasons of floating children social service lagging behind, putting forward thecorresponding measures to improve the floating children’s social services, fromeducation, psychology, health care and social adaptation to build the floatingchildren’s social service system...
