They under age and not well-educated, immature in physiology and psychology. Floating children are not able to fit the strange societal relationship and change the lifestyles when face the new environment, so they deny themselves. According to this, this research focuses on the requirement of the floating children; use the professional theory in social work, especially the group work, combing the theory and the practice, how to help the floating children in participant in societal activities; what is the effect by using the group work to help them.By long-time major internship, author choose 12 floating children lived in J community, Wuhan city for objects of study. Applying the questionnaires and statistics to realize the requirements and backgrounds. Proceeding the continuity of the activities, let the floating children immerse themselves in the variety of aspects in family, school, community and society, for the purpose of improving the participation of society.By analyze the results and reflections, plenty of floating children have learned how to find the key factors and solid the better habit, they share the happiness and experience. With the carry out of the practical operation, the social work service did a vital effect in improving the societal practice of floating children. it is possible to use group work to change the bad situation, there is a vivid growth in number of participators, the connection and communication go deeply between floating children. But during the practice process, the members are not steady and the rules are not clearly, we need to have deep and profound reflections.
