Research On Digital City Management System In Yancheng

With the rapid development of the economy and urban construction since thereform and opening policy of our country, urban management has been paid muchattention by governments. To research digital city management thoroughly can helpdevelop urban management, to enrich urban management theory, and to guide thepractice of urban management.This paper first discusses the concept of digital urban management,characteristics and elements. Then this paper carries out an empirical investigation ofdigital city management of Yancheng City, and describes the digital urbanconstruction background, construction process and special features. It verifies theeffectiveness of digital city management model through the achievement of DigitalCity Management of Yancheng City, and provides valuable experience for the reformof city management. This article also focuses on the general problems arising inpractice during the digital city management, and puts forward to correspondingcountermeasures and suggestions to improve digital city management.
