Study On The Smart City Management Model

City is the center of human trading and gathering since ancient times, which is a product of human economic and social development to a certain stage, and urbanization is the inevitable trend of urban development, is also a process of social problems emerge. But China which the urbanization rate of50%or more, the country will face the challenge of the low quality economic, social and ecological environment meanwhile most cities development are sustainable. With the progress of information technology the IBM put forward a new solution--smart city in2009for the first. As the smart city is the development of the information technology, communication technology and the management science and the practice application of the product, therefore, therefor many urban governors both at home and abroad commonly used. But the smart city is different from the industrial society period city management, so it cannot follow the traditional urban management method, while the city need scientific theoretical guidance and practical adjustment to create a new kind of intelligent management mode of the city.The papers analyses the urban management situation of ancient and modern time. It also summarizes five traditional urban management methods which are the high cost of management, extensive management, the single governor, backward way of information acquisition and processing and inadequate supervision and evaluation system.The smart city solution is presented to increase the urban sustainable development, and from four aspects to build the wisdom the goal of city management system which are the infrastructure and resources, public management and service, residents living environment and urban development capacity.
