It not only undertakes the historic responsibility of stationing troops and reclaiming and guardingthe border, but also has the multiple functions on military, political, economical and social aspects.The relation between Corps and Local place has long been one of the most prefer-treated relations inXinjiang. This paper does the corresponding researches on the cities in the Corps, Shihezi, local jurisdictionarea and Laojie jurisdiction area and their mutual development and current relationship status and prospect.I do some researches such as interviews and questionnaires to analyze and grasp the general knowledgefrom the collected materials. From the sifted research materials, we can make out the tense relationshipbetween Military and local place becomes smoothly. We have made great achievements to promote thefusion of Military and local place.The development of the relation between Military and local place in Shihezi and Laojie shows us thedevelopment situation and prospective vision of the overall relations between Military and local place inXinjiang. From the relation between Shihezi and Laojie, we can understand the relation between Shawanand Shihezi and the relation between Corps and local place. Step by step, we can know the integrateddevelopment of this area. Therefore, research about the relationship between Shihezi and Laojie has a greatrealistic meaning on the relation between Military and local place.According to the preparation of above research and analysis, we can get a conclusion, that is, the trendon relations between Military and local place develops well and the harmonious development betweenMilitary and local place currently becomes the mainline of the overall development in Shihezi.
