Corruption has become one of the most significant problems that people concerned in thelast decade. Corruption has obstructed social development and the practice of our wholecountry’s Chinese dream. Anti-corruption is complicated and hard, so there is a long way togo to end corruption. During the anti-corruption process, except for the Communist Party, ourgovernment, judicial department, the media also play a very important role. As some of thecorrupt official said, they do not afraid of appealing but show up in the newspaper.How does a medium function on anti-corruption? And what kind of role does it play?Basically, these two points are decided by the medium orientation. This research paper’s studyobject is main stream media’s anti-corruption, the research content is the value orientation.This paper studies the topic on three aspects, responsibility value appeal, vocational valueposition and ethical value.Why choose mainstream media? The reason to choose mainstream media is because itcan expose the corruption more effectively, can report it more deeply and can make a bigdifference on corruption. What is more, mainstream media pay much attention to protect theinterest of the masses, advocate main stream value and make contribution to promoteanti-corruption. This is also a model of some abnormal value orientation media.In the discussion process, combined with “Zhegnfu Lei corruption event","Xilai Bocorruption incident","Tienan Liu corruption incident" and other major anti-corruption events,select some typical report,analyzing the mainstream media presentation of the stateanti-corruption reports, to research the value orientation of the mainstream media corruptionreport.This research paper includes introduction, the text and summary.Introduction is composed by significance of the topic, literature review, and researchmethod and research innovation.The text consists of five parts. The first part is the brief introduction of the concept andstart of anti-corruption report."Mainstream media","anti-corruption report" are the corevocabularies of this article,"How the rise of anti-corruption report" is the premise of thisarticle discusses the research. Learn from existing research results, combined with political science, law, journalism knowledge, briefly describes the content of these points in thissection.Secondly, it is the relationship between value orientation of media and anti-corruptionreport. This part mainly elaborates the relationship between the value orientation of media andreport, and value orientation of media and anti-corruption report.The last three parts of the text are the main parts of this paper. It uses parallel structure tointroduce the three aspects of the mainstream media.Thirdly, the propagation functions. This part is the responsibility value pursues ofanti-corruption report. Media reports have a close relationship with political environment. TheCommunist Party’s mouthpiece is the most important responsibility value pursues. This paperelaborates this question from two aspects, statement of facts and speech guidance.The forth part is the public interest, the vocational value standpoint of anti-corruptionreport. As a social organization the media have their own vocational value orientation.Corruption do harm to social climate and legal order.The fifth part is people oriented the ethic value choice of anti-corruption report. Thereport is always related to human being. And the media’s attitude to human being oftenreveals the ethic value orientation of the media. This research paper analyzes the humanoriented ethic value orientation from the attitude of corrupt officials, the nobody of corruptionand the reporting people.The last part is a brief summary about the viewpoint, the research significance and theshortage of the whole paper.
